We’ve got some exciting things happening, so we encourage you (especially leaders) to read through the whole email, so you don’t miss anything!

Registration update

We’re so encouraged that we have nearly 5,000 youth and leaders joining us next month! If you haven’t purchased your tickets or extras you might need, now is the time to do that! We have tickets available for weekends 1 and 3. If your group is going to KYCK 2 and you need to add tickets, please email us.

Here are our top registration tips for youth groups!

1. Keep registration open for as long as possible so youth don’t miss out! 2. Buy slightly more tickets than the size of your group and advertise. 3. Give leaders, youth and the church a challenge to invite others along. 4. Aim high, pray hard, work the phones and socials to reach youth who have been disconnected or lost for a while and encourage them to join KYCK!

KYCK Online

If you can’t make it to Katoomba, you can still join us online!

We’ll be live-streaming our KYCK 2 weekend and you’ll have a front row seat to all the action. Your ticket includes access to watch on-demand for one month after our event, plus your own experience pack with a booklet, pen, wristband and KYCK bucket hat!

If you plan to join us online, please buy your ticket in the next couple of weeks, so you can receive your experience packs in time.

Accommodation

Leaders, if you have booked accommodation at StayKCC and have your group organised, head to our website to submit your booking details – including gender breakdown between youth/leaders and special requirements.

It’s here! Our fresh from of merch includes our much-loved hoodie and tee, plus our brand-new beanie, bucket hat and cap styles. Purchase from 8am each KYCK Saturday. All merch profits help make sure that KYCK can keep on KYCK-ing!

Volunteer

We’re still on the lookout for superstar volunteers to help us during our KYCK 1 & 3 weekends. If you’ve got skills operating a camera, making a coffee or pouring a slushie – we’d love to hear from you!

Saturday night
BBQ

Support high school scripture and teachers by purchasing the Saturday night BBQ at KYCK.

Held each KYCK Saturday, 6.15pm-7pm in the Plaza. It’s $5 per person and includes 2 sausage sandwiches & a soft drink!

KYCK ON

For KYCK ON this year, we’ve put together some activity ideas that you can do with your own groups or with other groups around Katoomba and surrounding areas. We’ll also provide some sports gear and suggested locations for some combined youth group games from our Info Tent onsite.

Prayer Gathering

We’ll be holding a prayer gathering each Saturday from 5.30-6.15pm in the auditorium before our BBQ. We will pray for our world, our churches and youth groups, schools ministry, the youth in our communities and more! How good will it be to gather and pray with our brothers and sisters in Christ that we don’t know from all over NSW!
